Tutorial
Open the Grok Bot app or download from the launch path on x.ai. If you are on Free / SuperGrok / SuperGrok Plus only, upgrade or use an eligible Cursor plan first.
Name it for the job ("Invoice triage"). Give it a one-paragraph charter: goal, tools it may use, and what it must never do.
Example: "Triage unread invoices in Gmail from the last 7 days. Draft a summary table. Do not pay or reply."
Run the happy path once while asking the Bot to watch. Correct naming, folders, and tone. Save the routine.
Create a coordinator or a sibling lane. Tell the new Bot to ask the first Bot for prior context instead of pasting a novel.
Morning: approve draft queue. Midday: exceptions only. End of day: kill stuck jobs and note failures.

Cursor is an AI-native code editor (VS Code fork) for software developers. Agent mode plans and edits across your repo with frontier models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, and others). Tab completions stay unlimited on paid plans; agent and premium model use is metered. Use Cursor when you want full-repo context inside the editor. Prefer GitHub Copilot when PR review and GitHub-native seats matter more. Many teams run both.

Grok Bot is SpaceXAI's early-beta product for always-on AI teammates. Each Bot gets its own cloud computer, signs into the same apps and websites a human would use, finishes multi-step jobs end to end, and only pings you when something needs approval. Teams can run many Bots in parallel, teach workflows by demonstration, and message Bots from desktop or iOS like colleagues.
How long until it is useful?
If the workflow is clear, a first useful draft queue can land the same day. Reliability usually takes a week of corrections.
What if I only have Cursor Pro?
Pro is not on the published Bot eligibility list as of August 2026. Ultra or Teams Premium is the Cursor path.
